OFF TIME

Hey folks,

I got some OFF time from social service by now. Im at an further training exhibition here in schleife a town with 500 people... great stuff I mean you really get to know the problem of how to get over your spare time. This is why I wanted to inform all of you, it might be that im off for this week till friday. I just try to get my head free of thinks and dont want to worry about anything at all.

So here we are...

Hey.

Finally I can say: "I´m happy". I came home for just 2 days to find my last results from school and I found it. After I did some research about universities and studying. So what do you think I found. A really nice site called hochschulkompass made it easy to find out what and where to study, because there is just everything listed in 2880 subjects to study. Great site if your thinking about studying. After looking for some subjects I informed mysef about the universities and how to apply for them and I got really excited seeing that most of the subjects I`m interested in don`t take the grades as the most relevant point to get in, but a special assortment test where you have to prove yourself in self confidence and self presentation. GOOD NEWS for me !!!

Ok, so now to the subjects and the universities:

First of all, European studies at Karlsruhe or Chemnitz, both are kind of interesting but chemnitz is definetly my favorite just because you have the choice of specializing your subject into cultural development or social development in europe, either way you got 5 different modules especially including the development in eastern and middle european countries.

Second, there`s multicultural economics cmmunication with to modules called cultural managemant and media studies. Sounds interesting doenst it. All this made possible by the universitiy of Jena aswell as Politics with the modules history of culture and history of economy and sociology.

Third, there`s dresden. Having a nice possibility to study either applied media research with the module sociology and politics, or politics with the module Humanities (whatever?!) and communications.

Fourth, social and culturalhropology with the combination of politics and communications, in berlin.

Fifth, empiric economical and social research, OR psychology in economics, OR apllied cultural science. Where to study this ? in Lüneburg close to Hamburg. Psychology in economics is aswell offered at Potsdam and at the european Universit of Cologne.

So as you can see many different choices...
many different interests...

Ok so now here's the update to the studywolrd 2007. First of all never visit an exhibition in a "house" and I mean house. Imagine 50 Universitites having a stand of 2 square meters, no fun place at all, but besides there were some really nice ppl telling me about future plans and giving me some impressions and opinions about my plan. So by now that's the point:

Bachelor in germany, including 1 Year or Semester somewhere else / Master somewhere around the globe.

OR

doing a double bachelor around europe, which means you get 2 degrees in 4 years and afterwards getting into a masters programme.

eitherway it'll cost a whole lot of money, but it should be the best way to get proper education.

Future Plans

Hey folks,

again two weeks passed since my last post in here .... wierd but time seems to be flying away once you dont have internet at the place you live. kinda SUCKS. Ok besides of still havin problems getting all the basics done in Dresden, i decided to visit the StudyWorld 2007 in Berlin this weekend. Its an exhibition about future plans and especially about studying in foreign countries. I hope the journey will get me closer to my aim to finally study somewhere, after my social service here at the youth hostel. The goal which i want to achieve is "studying in a foreign country" and I really hope it'll somehow will work out the way I imagine.

Time for some news !!!!

Right now I try to learn spanish with a podcast for free, hope it'll work and ill get some experience with this really nice language. Why i do this? Just trying to avoid thinking about less important things or getting confrontated with this really EVIL thing called: BOREDOM ... unbelievable but even in a world like ours BOREDOM is out there, it just hides within the TV or youtube or ... blogging during the nightshift. This rare sickness really is dangerous.

Hopefully my "keep Boredom AWAY" programme will work and i'll become more comfortable the next days.

ok, enough of me talking crap because i aint got enough sleep the last days.

UPDATE

Hello everyone !!!

I know its been more than just a while since my last UPDATE... sorry for that.
But by now I decided to update my BLOG again due to the enormous amount of things that happened since my TRIP.

Ok, lets start with my new Adress:

there I live together wih 3 nice people in a great house.

If you wonder why I moved, its because of the social service i do instead of military service. So im working in a hostel by now doing my best to provide everyone who checks in with the same hospitality i received during my trip. Thats quiete a hard job tbh. But on the other hand its great fun working with people.

OK... so what to tell you now

I dont have anymore new future plans because i still have to work everything out in dresden. You know all the "official" stuff like getting my room paid by the state and getting a room contract... finding doctors and so on. Thats kinda difficult for me while at the same time i do nightshifts and late dayshifts (starting at 13.30 till 22.00). But i hope until May everything will be sorted out and runs in the right direction.

11 stunden istanbul und immernoch nicht genug

hallo aus istanbul der stadt die ich bisher am allerschlechtesten eingeschaetzt habe... WOW ... totl westlich ... fast schon beaengstigend das hier 12 millionen menschen leben .... ich meine hallo new york hat 8 oder so...

IStanbul ist mega schoen die moscheen die maerkte die unis der bosporus es gibt einfach viel zu sehen und zu erleben. Marcos hatte mich heute begleitet er kommt aus san sebastian und bleibt bis sonntag in meinem hostel sehr angenehmer typ :) physikstudent und ziemlich intyelligent... nunja nach einer halben stunde fanden wir uns auf dem campus der istanbul universitet mit einer studentin die uns 11 stunden begleiten und fuehren sollte... ja das wars eigentlich schon einfach unglaublich ... ich meine das maedchen canceled einfach alles um mit uns den ganzen tag zu verbringen wahnsinn ... mehr kann ich da zu nicht sagen naja ausser ihr name ist Buesra und moirgen sind wir zu ihr eingeladen :)

Hey guys here the short version in english. its been a great day in istanbul i grouped upo with a guy from spain who also stays in my hostel... after half an hour of ou\r trip we met a student at the campus of istanbul university... after havin a aliuttle conversation she became our guid for 11 hours of sightseeing through all of istanbul... the bosporus the mosques the asian part ... almost evrything and she invited us to a party tommorow im looking forward to that stay tuned for more

Hello again from worlds number 1 Hostel !!!! >:)

Its my last day in riga tommorrow at 9 am ill be in ISTANBUL !!!! im really looking forward to that but i have to visit riga in summer again this city has just too much to offer than just the old city ... i even got lost yesterday in a city park so.

hi there folks,

im right here in riga with Guna at the reception of the worlds number 1 hostel FRIENDLY FUN FRANKS HOSTEL.... Yeah Guna is a VERY VERY nice girl from latvia shes like .... a blast ... i mean u see her and you just fall out of your shoes ... >:) she always makes me laugh and the other way round thats nice.

Ok back to the Trip i took a real erarly bus to get to riga at sunday it was 6 o clock and as sonn as i found the hostel Agnese wrote a message to me and invited me to visit her in liepaja where she studies. So i took the next bus and went there. That was one of the best things that could have taken place on my trip. Agnese played the guide for me so i saw the students home built up in the 70s ... der schoenste plattenbau der welt *hust*. Yeah later on we went to frineds of her to KRISTINE her boyfriend and ZANE, THANKS for the ACCOMODATION !!!! Yeah it was just a really nice evening with another friend of zane, we visited that little bar located at the harbour and just had some real nice conversation going on for hours ... and i mean hours ... i went to BED 6 o clock today aftetr having slpet 6 hours i took the bus back to riga where i am right now. Its too bad that i only have 1 more day here in riga cause theres plenty to see around this CITY. BTW thanks to that girl in the bus to liepaja the 6 hours trip felt only like 2... :_) yes im just TOOOOOOOOO lucky with meating ppl...

what a first day in tallinn. After ive visited most of the sightseeing stuff i came back to my hostel where i guy from ibiza just joined the dorm. We both did group up and he played the guide for a really nice friday night in one of tallinns hottest clubs ... he said that... actually we were really lucky because we didnt know the programme, but after we paid 13 eur to get in there should be enough entertainment... i speak of DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE http://www.defected.com/home/

That was one hell of a party in club prive http://www.clubprive.ee/ .... OMFG it was AMAZING btw that club is located right next to the Stereo lounge ... http://www.stereolounge.ee/ keep that in mind when u visit tallinn ... i can hear my brother crying while i write this :)

ok enough of that too bad there was no camera allowed in the club but theres still saturday night to come so stay tuned :)

again im having a wonderfull time in a beautiful old city ... i definetly have to visit tallinn again in summer with some friends :)

And theres some more news... I will make it back home till my birthday :) woohoo. The fact that i did spent too many days in prague stockholm and helsinki and the invitation to Agnese`s student home at the coast of latvia ment to shorten the trip so i fly over to istanbul at the 16th of november and fly back to stuttgart at the 20th. JAJAJAJAJAJA im looking forward to that one ...

so that was it from helsinki im now in tallinn.
Im doing fine here ppl are friendly and the hostel is great only 11 eur per night which is cool. Its located directly in the old town of tallinn which is a UNESCO world heritage, so its not my only oppinion that its beatiful. I visited Tallinn town museum today and was blasted by all of the historical details stored there. After a 35 minute trip to the new town i found myself sourrounded by skyscrapers and builduing built during the 15th century ... absolutely amazing :). I think this town really offers some great places to look at... hopefully ill get to all of them.

Now to something totally different...

never book a flight with baltic air ... PLZ !!! their internet site sucks ... since 2 days i try to get a flight to istanbul for 45 eur but theres always something wrong with the credit card the phone numeber or whatever... Thats totally crap !!!!!!!!!! Because theres always the hope of actually get that flight and everytime its the same dissappointement (is that an english word???) ... so sick of it

Last day in helsinki

its my last day here in helsinki now and im really looking forward to visit talinn for the rest of this week, i`ll stay at the ship for tonight so theres no need of a hostel which is really good ;). Though everything on this trip is absolutely great i still kinda get homesick due to the fact of only 5 hours of real sun here in helsinki. But nevermind its just a typical kirschner thing to start thinking at night ;). Back to today, me and gerd visited the whole southern part of helsinki today which is really worth seeing it.... the sea is absolute great and we even saw the great sunset --> photos when im in talinn....

i know i said i would write more today but im just not in the right mood now

hello from Finland

so here we are, after a really long boat cruise (17 hours)without a cabine, i finally arrived here. I thought the cruise to be less exhausting but i fast should find out that it was just the other way round. Lucky as i am i met a guy from Iran his name is amir and he offered me a free space in his cabine since there are no more dormitories on that fairie... thanks a lot for that i really would gone mad and sea sick without that cabine !!!!!. So now back to finlandand the hostel im in. Its located directly at the olympic stadium where the 1952 olympic games were hold. Nice place to stay in helsinki since its only 16euros per night... too bad i got no place again to upload photos ... but maybe i could use a laptop of one of the girls that share the dorm with me. Im starting to miss Mums food and low prices at mc donalds so i kinda begin to eat crappy stuff like m&ms the whole day i know i should stop that and get back to pasta with tomato sauce ...

anyways i really feel lucky due to the fact that i always find somebody around my stays from city to city with whom you can at least have some conversation this really keeps me from getting bored or becoming homesick.

Like Amir said it... there should be more conversation in this world

hi there guys,

its me again now from stockholm in sweden, first of all i have to say that ALL of you have to visit kopenhagen !!!! and i mean all of you, ive had like the best time i could imagine there. First of all there were 5 really nice swediash guys in the same bedroom (dorm) where i slept, thanks for the beer guys !. second of all i wanna say hello to SOPHIA and ANTONIA two really nice girls from germany who i met in the hostel later on after some vodka action happened we started to get interested into the kopenhagen night life. After 1 hour of looking for a bar to stay in we found i loud little rockbar where we had some nice christmas brew... quite good stuff. Later on we split with the swedish guys and went on trying to find a club where we could dance... . It took us quite a time to actually find one but all of a sudden there was this bunch of ppl from kopenhagen and they just group up with us and lead the way to some absolutely amazing Drum & Bass club. Hi there Stig and Ruben and all the others Thanks for that night ill keep that in mind for a long time i hope. After I got to the hostel again it was 5.25 am my train left at 6.23 so there was no more time for a nap .... bad thing since i was drunk and smelled like a ... dog ... but anyways i didnt miss the train which was my greatest fear that time... thanks to my guardian angel !
So on i went to stockholm which is a blast. Ive having a great time with DAN a guy from south africa thanks for the music buddy !!! to explain it weas like a acoustic sdession in the hostel and of course i have to mention that hes like the ultimate PASTA cook .... no for real hes like 1337 in doing pasta i dont need to taste i know from just watching ... ! Im sorry i cant6 iupload photos from here but when i get to helsinki i maybe find a better place to get an internet access so...

Hallo ihr da in deutschland.... Schaut euch kopenhagen an !wahnsinn! ich hatte ne mega gute zeit da einfach sehr sehr sehr viele nette leute die ich kennengelernt habe und es scheint nicht aufzuhören denn ich stockholm ist da doch glatt dieser typ aus Suedafrika Dan mein nebensitzer waehrend ich das hier verfasse :) in stockholm ist alles ziemlich cool und prunkvoll also ich meine wirklich prunkvoll, winter ist leider einfach die falsche jahreszeit um diese stadt zu betrachten aber egal wenn ich ein anderes i net cafe finde in helsinki morgen dann werdet ihr auch zeuge meiner fotos die ganz nett geworden sind :) und vor allem könnt ihr dann die leute mal anschauen die mir meine reise so total versuessen.
