Next chapter

hello everyone, so thats it. Its been one weekend and thats it i made it from dresden to stuttgart and finally im writing this out of my new room in karlsruhe, for all those who missed it, the town ill study in. Ive had a really warm welcome here by all the people i already and of course by my new roomates ignacio and max Pics will follow eventually theres somebody not handing me back my camera again !

So its 6 more hours till i finally start STUDYING european studies cultural management. Im kind of nervous cant sleep n shit thats what this post is all about.

It's been a while

but right now i feel like blogging again and you know why ? because i realized that it is good for me it is good to have some memories stored somewhere besides its totally a way of cleaning up your inside and getting a good mood again. I know its been a while since i did my last post but right now after so many things happened its about time to write at least some of the stuff down.

Ok first of all i got hit by a car and that accident injured my knee so i was off for quite some time and i really mean off. Not being able of WALKING certainly means to be OFF. So this "break" actually appeared in june this year and lasted till the mid of september... ugly isn't it ?

By that time i got to know some very very nice ppl. First of all my ex-roommate ANDY thanks man for all that you did... all that crazy stuff as well as those serious discussions late at night or early in the morning BITCH !

Next there's the rest of the BAND Alan and Stuart thanks for all the fun and the professional guitar hero session along with the lessons in pro evo !!! not to mention all the great jokes i wish you all the best and be prepared for some visitor.

Last but not least thanks to Julius and the gang: rhesa mandy melissa paul and albi and all the others that ever joined the ranks ! i think i can consider myself lucky knowing you guys otherwise i would have never listened to such great music and had that much wine...

So as you all can see im still that kind of lucky guy who meets the right people at the right places somewhere all around the globe... i hope that'll never change !

By the way i'll move to karlsruhe soon to begin my studies of european culture and history. As soon as i get there you will get some updates i guess !!

hey folks here we are with another update containing material of Hamburg where i visited a good friend of mine aswell as some nice pictures from leipzig and prague. I try to travewl a lot while i do my social service i mean i almost take all spare time to see different places, you know: travel more cause it fuels inspiration ! So what to say about hamburg, ive had some nice food better conversation and best DOA battles ever done by mankind !

Next stage leipzig a really nice city. Ive been there 2 times now always finding some new nice places to look at. Friendly ppl and many monuments connected to german history, worth visiting word !

Ok now to something really big to me ! Prague. Ok it all began when becca went to dresden and wanted to spend a night in the youth hostel im working in. She wrote me an email afterwards telling me that she'll visit amsterdam and finally get back to classes in prague. So i decided to not think much but get me to prague somehow, she invited me to stay in her room and even join her classes which was a great experience to having my first classes in english and meeting so many nice people. It was a great time hope to be lucky like this always ;).

Dont worry I got one more to come. Back in Dresden for 2 nights now and still im on my way from location to location ! First from prague to work at once afterwards to a little birthday celebration in Löbtau ! thanks guys nice to know you guys !

than get some, back to work next day grab guitar hero and on to the guys from WE SEE SOPHIE a scottish rock band which has one member living with me sharing the flat. Awesome evening having Pros playin guitar hero and laugh laugh laugh !

OFF TIME

Hey folks,

I got some OFF time from social service by now. Im at an further training exhibition here in schleife a town with 500 people... great stuff I mean you really get to know the problem of how to get over your spare time. This is why I wanted to inform all of you, it might be that im off for this week till friday. I just try to get my head free of thinks and dont want to worry about anything at all.

So here we are...

Finally I can say: "I´m happy". I came home for just 2 days to find my last results from school and I found it. After I did some research about universities and studying. So what do you think I found. A really nice site called hochschulkompass made it easy to find out what and where to study, because there is just everything listed in 2880 subjects to study. Great site if your thinking about studying. After looking for some subjects I informed mysef about the universities and how to apply for them and I got really excited seeing that most of the subjects I`m interested in don`t take the grades as the most relevant point to get in, but a special assortment test where you have to prove yourself in self confidence and self presentation. GOOD NEWS for me !!!

Ok, so now to the subjects and the universities:

First of all, European studies at Karlsruhe or Chemnitz, both are kind of interesting but chemnitz is definetly my favorite just because you have the choice of specializing your subject into cultural development or social development in europe, either way you got 5 different modules especially including the development in eastern and middle european countries.

Second, there`s multicultural economics cmmunication with to modules called cultural managemant and media studies. Sounds interesting doenst it. All this made possible by the universitiy of Jena aswell as Politics with the modules history of culture and history of economy and sociology.

Third, there`s dresden. Having a nice possibility to study either applied media research with the module sociology and politics, or politics with the module Humanities (whatever?!) and communications.

Fourth, social and culturalhropology with the combination of politics and communications, in berlin.

Fifth, empiric economical and social research, OR psychology in economics, OR apllied cultural science. Where to study this ? in Lüneburg close to Hamburg. Psychology in economics is aswell offered at Potsdam and at the european Universit of Cologne.

So as you can see many different choices...
many different interests...

Ok so now here's the update to the studywolrd 2007. First of all never visit an exhibition in a "house" and I mean house. Imagine 50 Universitites having a stand of 2 square meters, no fun place at all, but besides there were some really nice ppl telling me about future plans and giving me some impressions and opinions about my plan. So by now that's the point:

Bachelor in germany, including 1 Year or Semester somewhere else / Master somewhere around the globe.

OR

doing a double bachelor around europe, which means you get 2 degrees in 4 years and afterwards getting into a masters programme.

eitherway it'll cost a whole lot of money, but it should be the best way to get proper education.

Future Plans

Hey folks,

again two weeks passed since my last post in here .... wierd but time seems to be flying away once you dont have internet at the place you live. kinda SUCKS. Ok besides of still havin problems getting all the basics done in Dresden, i decided to visit the StudyWorld 2007 in Berlin this weekend. Its an exhibition about future plans and especially about studying in foreign countries. I hope the journey will get me closer to my aim to finally study somewhere, after my social service here at the youth hostel. The goal which i want to achieve is "studying in a foreign country" and I really hope it'll somehow will work out the way I imagine.
